Jury, teachers, coaches, musicians

The jury of the Prix de Lausanne is composed of nine renowned personalities of the dance world, each of whom, in principle, meets one or several of the following criteria:

- is an ex winner of the Prix de Lausanne
- has a link with our partner schools
- has a link with our partner companies

Further aspects are taken into consideration to compose the panel:      
- wide geographical representation        
- mix of youth and experience

The Prix de Lausanne is delighted to be able to provide the young dancers of the competition with a prestigious panel of dance professionals and wishes to take this opportunity to thank them for their time and expertise. Their voluntary work is extremely appreciated.

About Us

Prix de Lausanne History

Everything began to take shape in the spring of 1972, not on the shores of Lake Léman, but beside a swimming pool in Cannes. Philippe Braunschweig, his wife Elvire, and Rosella Hightower were excitedly discussing their new project, the launch of the first competition for young dancers, scheduled for 1973.
